FORT WORTH, TX - Dr. Jared Williams announced today that his campaign for Fort Worth City Council District 6 had raised over $18,000.
“Since I announced my campaign for Fort Worth City Council District 6 in July, we have continued to receive overwhelming support from around the community. To reach over $18,000 in contributions this early in the process demonstrates clear support for my campaign in creating meaningful solutions with my neighbors in the 6th District and the entire city of Fort Worth” said Dr. Williams.

“I decided to run for the 6th Council District because I believe that the people of this district want new leadership that is dedicated to solving the issues our district and city face. I am proud to have been raised in Southwest Fort Worth. Fort Worth has always been my home and I believe that Fort Worth is an amazing place, but like all communities we have issues that require solutions. We have spoken with neighbors from across District 6 and Fort Worth who are more than ready for a new generation of leadership in Fort Worth that values people over politics. Our campaign looks forward to continuing the dialogue with our neighbors where they live, work, and worship. Our movement is laser-focused on building a coalition that is dedicated to creating solutions to the issues that we face as a city” said Dr. Williams.
