Dr. Jared Williams Earns Endorsement From The Collective PAC In Fort Worth City Council District 6 Race
Collective PAC Endorsement Brings National Focus To Local Fort Worth Election.

FORT WORTH, TX -Dr. Jared Williams, Fort Worth City Council Candidate District 6, earned the endorsement today of The Collective PAC, the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political representation across all levels of government.

“Dr. Williams has a proven record of putting the people of Fort Worth first, so we are excited to support him in his candidacy for the Fort Worth City Council - District 6. We look forward to helping ensure he gets elected on May 1st,” said Chris Scott, National Political Director, The Collective PAC.

Founded in August of 2016, The Collective PAC has endorsed and supported hundreds of Black candidates over the past five years and has helped 110 candidates win general elections at the local, state and federal levels across the country. The organization works to rectify the underrepresentation of the Black community in elected seats of power throughout America. Their website notes that in order to reach political equity – a place where Black elected officials represent the community’s population statistically – Black people should hold at least 13% of all elected offices in the U.S.

“Earning the endorsement and support of The Collective PAC is truly inspiring,” said Dr. Williams. “Their organization works tirelessly to elect candidates who represent the interests of the diverse Black communities across the country, and I am grateful to have their support in this election. This demonstrates how important Fort Worth elections are to shaping the future of our neighborhoods, city, state and nation.”
